Li Xin Sheng was born in 1966 and graduated from the Harbin Institute of Education, China Central Academy of Fine Arts and China Literacy Foundation Scenery Master Painting Class. He is now a resident artist of China Central Academy of Fine Arts and member of some of the most prestigious art associations in the North.

Residing in the northern counties, Li has taken interest in the white hills and black waters of his homeland. Inspired by the forces of nature and the northern culture, Li manages to create a refreshing and graceful style to express the life of the Northern Plain. Combining traditional methods and new elements, his unique style is recognized with a number of prizes awarded to him during the past decade.

李新聲於1966年出生，畢業於哈爾濱師範大學、中央美術學院、中國文聯山水畫高研班。現為黑龍江省美協、書協會員、中國田園畫會理事。他的畫作既保留傳統，亦注重新意。

生在北國，長在塞外的李新聲，十分鍾情於北國白山黑水；他的創作靈感均來自塞外風情及其獨特文化，希望從作品中反映他對東北大平原大自然生命力的感嘆、理解和澈悟。他著意以畫筆描繪北國的美麗風情，擁抱北國那火熱的生活，結合傳統的山水畫藝術及其文化背景，建立一種獨特的個人風格，使他在中國及國際畫壇上獲獎無數。獲獎作品包括《初秋霜月》、《清秋益覺田園幽》及《三羊開泰》等。
